Prepare waste correctly
Asbestos waste must be double wrapped or double bagged, labelled, and kept damp so no dust escapes during transport, then disposed of only at an authorised facility. Use heavy-duty plastic of at least 0.2 mm, seal seams with strong tape, fill bags only half full so they can be sealed properly, and transport them in a covered and secured vehicle.
